Our trip began at night of May, 3, 1991 from railway station Sverdlovsk. We left train in 6.40 next mornings in Chelyabinsk where we move to electric train Chelyabinsk-Miass. Be careful Miass rather artful city. We should leave at station called native “old station of Miass” and on the nail move to train Miass-Uchaly which wait us in this station. But we do not search for simple ways. At once we have jumped out from electric train Andrew has confidently ordered “Back!” We believed native of Chelyabinsk and quickly dropped back and reached to the basic station of Miass.
There we should reached Miass II by bus up and get the other train to Uchaly. But again, we listened Andrew and left the bus not in Miass II and “old station of Miass” where our first train already left. As the result - we have missed both trains.
For start our hiking trip it was necessary to run about over Miass with backpacks to find freight train then negotiate with foot-plateman and reach up Uchaly in a back cabin of the locomotive.
Our trip began with lot of mistakes and I made a mistake too. I put on new gumshoe and get good corns. For repairing my mistake I found piece of linoleum and made an insole by my knife then by same knife I pierce corns and my life became beautiful.

All right, at 3 p.m we reached Ucahly! The first we passed on dusty road through the village Urgunovo near the lake Urgun. Then crossed small river near village Kalkanovo and stayed for night. Mountains it is not visible yet, around us flat, like a table, Bashkiria.

We rose at 7.00, had breakfast and at 9.20 left. For the morning exercise we climbed on rather high mountain. On a descent made some photographs, looked round in the field-glass and walked according azimuth, forced some bogs and branches of river Belaja, on one of branches had dinner and took the sun. After dinner we passed through a saddle of ridge Avaliak. It was rather difficult in fast rate to get on Avaliak.

Since morning from camp which locates between two mountains Iremel we ascended for 1 hour and 45 minutes to mountain Big Iremel.

And in the evening, after descent in base camp, we ascended on mountain Small Iremel. There was interesting «the lunar landscape» on it and little lower we found a last year's cowberry which we with pleasure had a meal.

This morning came in Sibirka and found out that the bus departed to Satka at 11 but actually it left at 10.35. So to come beforehand sometimes it happens not bad. In a village the drunken forester approached to us, demands our documents and the routing book but Victor Alekseevich gave him nothing because we could got lot of problems. There were fires in a wood and he can accuse us on it and if he takes our documents and put it in his pocket we couldn’t go away. In five minutes his wife appeared and ordered him “Go home!” it save us from long and tiresome conversation with him. He came teetering and quickly disappeared.
At 12 hours we arrived in city Satka, bought tickets up to Sverdlovsk. The train departed at 19.10 (Moscow time) and goes through Druginino where at the morning we move on an electric train up to Sverdlovsk.
