The application is developed for designing and calculating the following types of hobs:

Hobs for manufacturing cylindrical gears with any initial contour.

Hobs for manufacturing splined shafts with a straight-sided profile.

Hobs for manufacturing Archimedes worm wheels ZA.

After entering the main parameters, the application performs drawing of hob, according to the calculated data.
The prepared drawing can be printed on the printer or saved in an image format and sent to customers.
In the application, you can add new types of calculations of some mechanism and send these results to a new drawing created in the built-in graphic editor.

According to the Microsoft Privacy Policy, any personal data (the names of the developers and testers of the drawing from the program database) stored in your personal folders can not be transferred to any third parties without your knowledge. The "Hob" program is an application for a local computer, and does not have any capabilities for data transfer and access to the Internet.
